A Dream Workshop – An experiential and relational approach towards dreams with Machiel Klerk, LMFT
By connecting to your dreams, you will realize your unique potential and experience joy, fulfillment, health, beauty, and an acceptance of life. Dreams provide clues to our vocation, which partner to stay with and which one to leave, and warn us about physical sickness. Dreams are guiding principles in life.
Machiel will tell the story of the Source of Life and The Fountain of Liquid Golden Light, and look at ways we can experience and have a relationship with the shape shifting figures in our dreams. These shape shifters have gone by many names, such as daimon, genius, soul, and fate, and were considered to bring fulfillment and guidance.
We will explore how dreaming is the ‘Other World’ and how the Dream world is present in our waking life. Here, the old notion of an interconnected world, Unus Mundus is further explored. We will learn and apply an experiential and relational way of working with dreams that is rooted in Jungian Psychology and Embodied Imagination.
This workshop is suited for beginners and people who are experienced in working with dreams. Bring your own dream if you want to share and we will work on a few dreams in a group.
All mental health professionals are eligible to receive six CEs.
